(South Valley Journal) It’s been a busy summer in the city of Herriman. In June city and county officials broke ground on the J.L. Sorenson Recreation Center. July 1 it was the new library’s shovel turning day. And Aug. 5, Mayor J. Lynn Crane and developer James Lee Sorenson cut the ribbon on a brand new Main Street, home to both facilities.
Before the ceremony Mayor J. Lynn Crane spoke of the long term transportation plans city leaders established when the city incorporated 10 years ago.
