Federal Heights: The 2010 Historic Homes Tour
Utah Heritage Foundation will hold its annual Historic Homes Tour on May 1, 2010, from 10 Aa.m. to 5 p.m. in the Federal Heights neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Tickets are available for purchase online now. Tickets are also available by calling Utah Heritage Foundation offices at 801.533.0858 extension 107, or call if you have any questions.
Characterized by tree-lined streets and some of the city's earliest traffic circles, the earliest part of Federal Heights features homes from a few major style periods: the late Victorian era, Period Revival styles, the Arts & Crafts/Craftsman/Bungalow period, and even Modern styles. Consistently desirable as home to community leaders, these houses have been adapted for modern living by excellent stewards. Several are featured on our tour this year.
Tickets are $15 person if purchased before April 27 at 5 p.m., when all advance ticket sales end. After April 27, tickets may only be purchased at our tour headquarters on the day of the tour, and will not be available via our website or phone call. Members of Utah Heritage Foundation may purchase day-of tickets at the discounted rate of $15 per person. The regular ticket price is $20 per person. All persons who walk must have a ticket. One ticket is included with All-In-One registration for our 2010 Utah Preservation Conference. All tickets are in the form of our tour brochure, with which you can enter each home on the tour. We do not mail the brochures prior to the event, and all advance and day-of ticket purchasers must pick up their tour brochure(s) at our tour headquarters before going on the tour. The tour is an all-weather, rain-or-shine event and there are no refunds for unused tickets.
