Home Run Tour

A campaign to raise awareness about the home-buying opportunities in South Salt Lake will kick off Wednesday, April 29, with the "Home Run Tour" of seven model homes in recently completed developments. A ribbon cutting will launch the tour at 10 a.m. Wednesday at South Salt Lake City Hall, 220 E. Morris Avenue. A tour will then be given of new developments in the area, including Southgate, Garden Gate, Huntly Manor, Cottages at Southgate, Waverly Station, Millbrook and Lincoln Park. The homes range in price from $168,900 to $315,000 and are eligible for the $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit and the $6,000 Home Run Grant. Local realtors and the media are invited to the tour.
