Anti-discrimination laws denied

CEDAR CITY - More than a dozen individuals were outside the Cedar City offices Wednesday sobbing, embracing and text messaging following the decision by the Cedar City Council to deny two ordinances protecting gay and transgender people from discrimination in housing and employment matters.
