Court unseals inmate’s letter in Allgier murder case

After roughly two years of appeals, a letter from a convicted felon that details a purported confession to murder from Curtis Michael Allgier has been unsealed.
The Utah Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld a trial court’s 2009 ruling that there is a “presumptive right of access” to the letter from inmate Brent Mayon Cobb.
