Deer Valley: President says desire to improve keeps resort on top

Deer Valley President Bob Wheaton is prepared to give credit to everyone and everything but himself for pulling off the dynastylike achievement of being named the No. 1 ski resort in North America five years in a row.
“It is the perfect storm that allows Deer Valley to earn the award,” said Wheaton, who started as a building maintenance manager at the resort in Park City 31 years ago. “There is the amazing Utah snow, the geography that gives us such great terrain and the people.”
