District Attorney nearing deal on downtown office

District Attorney Lohra Miller soon could seal a downtown real-estate deal that would give Salt Lake County prosecutors a permanent home in Utah’s capital.
Although hush-hush on the location, the Republican district attorney announced Tuesday that the property would put prosecutors even closer to the Scott M. Matheson Courthouse than they are on Broadway, little more than a block away.
That leaves few possible parcels for a District Attorney’s Office that could cost close to $30 million to build...
