Flooding hits southern Utah as storm settles over state

Weekend storms that created a fairly mild commute through the Salt Lake Valley have led to flooding in southern Utah. The Virgin River is running at flood level, exceeding its banks in areas, prompting a flood warning in Kane and western Wasthington counties until at least 3 p.m. Monday, said Steve Rogowski, meteorologist for the National Weather Service.
