Iron County property values drop $500 million

BRIAN HEAD - Iron County Assessor Dennis Ayers told the Iron County Coordinating Council during its monthly meeting Wednesday that he had good news and bad news - the property valuations had gone down half a billion dollars but the certified tax rate will probably go up.
