New roads aim to ease congestion near Valley Fair Mall

Just in time for the final shopping rush before Christmas, an improved I-215 off-ramp at 3500 South will make access easier to Valley Fair Mall and to other businesses and homes west of the freeway, according to transportation officials.
The southbound ramp is scheduled to open Thursday. Motorists who take the ramp will be able to follow different lanes that take them toward Redwood Road, 2700 West or back onto the freeway.
