Obama defends health overhaul

Marking the six-month anniversary of his signature health care overhaul, President Barack Obama sought Wednesday to reframe the law as a boon to consumers.
In a backyard in Falls Church, Va., the president surrounded himself with people who will benefit from the law’s early provisions, many of them taking effect today. Among them, a Salt Lake City bookseller who is banking on $21,000 in tax credits to keep her business afloat.
