Out-of-state success key to Utah tourism funds

Two years ago, Tuacahn Center for the Arts received $50,000 in state tourism funding to promote its performances out of state.
The result: “We anticipate that 36 percent of our guests this year will visit Tuacahn from outside of Utah,” said Kevin Smith, CEO of the theater outside of St. George. “The professional concerts and Broadway shows produced by Tuacahn will generate an estimated $45 million to the Utah economy.”
