State puts tourism funding into 28 local promotions

State tourism officials are pumping $1.5 million into out-of-state promotions put together by 24 local tourism-development organizations.
The Utah Board of Tourism Development allocated cooperative marketing funds Thursday for 28 of 32 applications.
