Treasuries Jump, U.S. Stocks Pare Losses on Fed’s Stimulus Plan

Treasuries surged, sending yields on 10-year notes to an 18-month low, after the Federal Reserve said it plans to buy government debt in an effort to buoy the economy. Stocks pared losses and the dollar trimmed its rally.
