Utah gets $12.6M in transportation grants

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced this week $12.6 million in grants to Utah to help with projects ranging from improving safety for bicyclists in Wasatch Canyons to building a transit center in Provo.
“Transportation investments like these will create jobs and improve the quality of life for Utah residents,” LaHood said in a news release, “as well as strengthen the state’s economy.”
