$10.1 M affordable housing project to be built in SLC
Cowboy Partners LC will build a $10.1 million apartment complex for low income residents at 280 E. 200 South in Salt Lake City. The ground breaking of the four-story, 81-unit Liberty Citywalk complex is scheduled for August. The building will be a sister community to Liberty Metro and Liberty Midtown. Liberty Citywalk will be built to meet LEED certification. Cowboy Partners is hoping to receive a $500,000 loan from Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency Housing Trust Fund to support the affordability of the project. Most of the financing will come from equity/tax credits through Wachovia/Wells Fargo. Humphreys & Partners Architects is designing Citywalk. A contractor has yet to be selected. The Enterprise, June 8-14, 2009
