Credit union to move HQ to heart of downtown SLC
(The Enterprise) Utah First Federal Credit Union has purchased approximately 52,000 square feet at 210 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, and will relocate its headquarters there from 208 E. 800 S. in early 2010.
As part of the move, Utah First will also relocate its Salt Lake branch office to the former Snelgrove building, which is adjacent to the new corporate headquarters. It is expected that an interior access between the two structures will be opened to create a member service area large enough to provide new transaction services.
The headquarters location will employ around 100 and will be nearly five times larger than Utah First’s current base of operations. The credit union currently has 22,000 members and assets of $245 million. At this time, it operates eight branches from Provo to Farmington.
Utah First purchased the South Temple building with the assistance of Kip Paul and Travis Healey of Commerce Real Estate Solutions.
