Midtown Village gets new business tenant

OREM (Daily Herald) -- Despite Midtown Village's existing legal problems, an Orem information technology support services company has relocated its operations to the semi-finished mixed-use project in Orem.

MSN Solutions Group Inc. doing business as Equinox IT Services is the third tenant to open at Midtown, after Pizzeria 712. A title company that had set up shop in the South Tower in 2007 has since moved out, according to Bill Bell, an Orem city building official. Other tenants that had considered moving into Midtown but changed their plans include Kneaders Bakery and the Hale Center Theater.

In September, Equinox moved its nearly 30-plus workforce to a 4,000 square foot space in the completed South Tower at 320 S. State St., Suite 285, from a 4,000-square-foot building at 211 E. 840 South in Orem.

"We wanted space to expand, and at Midtown, we have room to add another 2,000 square feet to 4,000 square feet eventually," said Steve Telford, co-founder of Equinox. "We might need to add an additional 2,000 square feet over the next six months to a year, if we hire more people."
