Nebo Economic Summit to give business owners peek of 2011
PAYSON (Daily Herald) -- South Utah County business leaders will get a chance Tuesday to put their ears to the railroad tracks en masse -- figuratively, that is -- at the annual Nebo Economic Summit.
Put on by the Payson, Santaquin and Spanish Fork/Salem chambers of commerce, the summit provides a peek into the crystal ball of commerce for the upcoming year, as seen through the eyes of state and city government as well as local business owners.
The hot issues this year are transportation -- namely, the reconstruction of Interstate 15 (called the I-15 CORE project) between American Fork and Spanish Fork -- and health care reform, both to be discussed at the summit.
