New Zions Bank causes some stir
BOUNTIFUL (Davis County Clipper) — A temporary chain link fence was in place surrounding the downtown Zions Bank building, here, Monday.
Even as a truck was being loaded at a back entrance, customers were being served from the old Barnes Banking Company branch at 100 S. 500 West in West Bountiful.
Meanwhile, plans for the new two-story replacement on the northwest corner of Bountiful’s Center and Main Streets were being tweaked.
Bank officials were due to meet with architects within the next week, the Clipper has been told.
A rendering was not being released by Zions or the architectural firm because of possible changes that could be made in next week’s meeting.
