Park City Racquet Club needs a renovation
(Park Record) Kawkeb Said is a regular at the Racquet Club, driving to the City Hall-run athletic facility each day for workouts in step classes and kickboxing sessions.
But Said, like many other users of the Park Meadows health club, acknowledges that the Racquet Club is showing its wear and tear. The locker rooms and showers need updating, she says, adding that the hot water system needs work as well.
"It's aging. Look around you. You can see the aging," Said, who lives in Pinebrook, said on Wednesday as she perused City Hall's ambitious plans to renovate the Racquet Club during an open house held on a tennis court.
