Ruth's Return: Upscale steak house to occupy remodeled Chase Bank building
(The Enterprise) Mark Robbins is reopening his Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchise at 80 W. 300 South in the first quarter of 2010. Robbins was formerly the general manager of the Pierpont Avenue location that closed its doors earlier this year. A staff of 70 to 80 will work in the 9,000-square-foot, 250-seat restaurant which will be open Monday through Thursday 5 to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 5 to 9 p.m. The new location was particularly attractive due to the amount of off-street parking and proximity to the new City Creek development. Last week, Robbins received a full-service liquor license and is planning to obtain a dining club license as well, which will allow the restaurant to serve drinks at the bar and allow those under 21 to dine at the eatery with or without another 21 year old.
