Target to build another Salt Lake store

(The Enterprise) In the next 30 days, Target will begin the site work for their new location located at 1120 S. 300 West in Salt Lake City. Target stores open only in July and October, so this store is scheduled to meet an October 2010 deadline. The new storewill carry some food items, but it will not have a full grocery department as SuperTargets do. This new location is one of only a handful of stores Target plans to open in 2010. The shopping center will be approximately 210,000 square feet, and Target will be the anchor tenant of the shopping center with 137,000 square feet. The shopping center will sit on 18 acres, 12 of which will be owned by Target. The developer is Miller Weingarter Realty LLC.
