University of Utah celebrates completion of $200 million expansion

SALT LAKE CITY (KSL) -- University Health Care celebrated the completion of the new Patient Care Pavilion. It took eight years to complete and cost more than $200 million to build.

The new Patient Care Pavilion gives the hospital an entirely new look on the outside, but on there's a lot of new features on the inside.

The highlights include a new expansive lobby, 100 private patient rooms and an additional 250 parking spots; all of which, University Health Care hopes will make the hospital easier to get to and better to stay and work in.
