Utah Central Credit Union to celebrate its 70th

( Deseret News) Utah Central Credit Union will mark its 70th anniversary this year with several events, member promotions and charitable fundraisers.

Festivities begin with its annual membership meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the E Center.

Other activities include a summer picnic and baseball game at the Salt Lake Bees; member product promotions tied to savings, loans and checking accounts; branch scrapbooking projects; and fundraisers for the Angel's Hands Foundation, CareSource Foundation and the American Heart Association.

Utah Central is the state's 14th-largest credit union. It serves members in Salt Lake and Carbon counties with branch offices in Salt Lake, Price, Murray, West Valley, West Jordan, Sandy and Herriman.
