Work to begin on first phase of 250-acre American Fork development

(The Enterprise) Construction is scheduled to begin on the first phase of Vintaro, a mixed-use community in American Fork and Pleasant Grove. The first phase will consist of 54 single family homes on five acres at 650 S. 600 East in American Fork. The homes will be 1,300 square feet with three bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms. They will start in the $170s. Ken Wheadon of Sugar House designed the homes which will be built by Gold Medallion Homes. The first phase will also include the construction of 1,500 units on 170 acres and three to five churches for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The second phase will consist of 60 single family homes, slightly larger than those built in the first phase, and approximately 200 townhomes will be built in the third phase.
