Rhett Hosman

OGDEN -- Bank of Utah announced the appointment of Rhett Hosman as a mortgage and construction loan specialist.  Hosman is a long-term denizen of Northern Utah who brings a background in mortgage lending and building industry sales to the Brigham City Branch.

“We are pleased to bring Rhett into our fold,” says Tom Shaw, Bank of Utah’s senior vice president and area manager. “This means our community will have immediate access to a mortgage lender on a daily basis at our facility.  I’ve known Rhett a long time, and am confident that he will be a real asset to our operation and a friendly, knowledgeable resource to our community.”

Hosman has worked and lived in Northern Utah, bringing 22 years retail sales experience in both hard goods and service industries, as well as six years in the mortgage lending industry.  Hosman owned and operated Provident Mortgage in Perry, Utah, and was a partner and loan officer for Wasatch Mortgage.  His construction experience comes from serving in sales positions for both Pioneer Door and Burton Lumber.

Hosman earned a BA in business administration, with a production management emphasis from Utah State University.
