184-unit apartment project planned in Taylorsville

Perry Homes Inc. plans to break ground for the West Village Apartments, a 184-unit rental community in Taylorsville, within the next two months. The Architects Office of Boise Idaho designed the three, three-story buildings which will be located on 7.76 acres at 2099 W. 4700 South.  The community is being built for those 55 and older, with one and two bedroom units ranging in rent from $700 to $1,000 per month. Perry Construction will act as the general contractor for the project. Financing has not yet been acquired, but, if necessary, Perry Homes can self-finance the project. Units will likely be available a year after ground is broken. The Enterprise, July 20-26, 2009
