Approval given for UofU Specialty Care Center

The final site plan for the University of Utah Specialty Care Center was approved by the South Jordan Planning Commission. The building will be three sotries, 206,900 square feet on 9.4 acres at 5126 W. Daybreak Parkway. The facility will include an outpatient care center and an emergency room with a helipad. The Huntsman Cancer Institute will have an outpatient care center as well as doctors offices in the building. Construction will begin in late spring or early summer. Kennecott Land Company is the developer. Dixon and Associates is the architect.
