Canyon Gates subdivision waits approval

Developer Ty Thomas is waiting for preliminary approval of the Canyon Gates Subdivision in North Logan. The 272-lot subdivision will be built on 146 acres of land that was previously used as a gravel pit and a junkyard, Planning Commissioner Cordell Batt said. The development will be built in phases, with the first consisting of 25 lots, and will include open space and a trail system.
