Construction begins on Ogden technology building

Construction has started on the 88,000-square-foot Samuel H. and Marian K. Barker Family Health Technology building on the Ogden-Weber Tech College campus. The LEED Gold facility will double the college’s capacity for training and job placement. Okland Construction and GSBS Architects worked together on the project. The building, which is scheduled to be complete in 2011, received $21.9 million from the Utah Legislature in 2009.
