Development proposed for Salt Lake

Salt City Plaza, LLC, submitted a request for a planned development located at approximately 154 W. 600 South and 179 W. 500 South on 4.92 acres. The developer wants to construct multiple buildings on the site. The Architect is GSBS Architects. The proposal is to construct a hotel with office and retail space. There is currently a motel on site. The north portion of the motel will be saved and used. The remainder will be replaced with underground parking and three new, separate hotels. Garden Inn, Holiday Inn and Indigo are all owned by State Bridge. According to the plans, Indigo would have European, yet contemporary upbeat flare. At the moment there are some issues with height and setback but Salt City Plaza, LLC, is requesting conditional use.
