Industrial imaging firm to build $4 million headquarters

A 36,000-square-foot building is under construction in Salt Lake City. The building will be the new headquarters for Royce Photo/Graphics Supply Inc. The building is scheduled to be complete for the company to relocate in February. The new facility, 1795 S. Fremont Drive, will have more than double the company’s current warehouse capacity and demonstration room. Royce originally broke ground in 2008, but stalled construction when the local economy started to suffer. In June 2009, the company began construction again on the $4 million project. Utah Commercial Contractors Inc. is the primary contractor on the project. A loan through the Bank of Utah is partially funding the project. Internal funds from Royce are funding the remaining portion of the project. Royce has yet to decide what to do with its current facility, which is 16,000 square feet. The Enterprise, July 27 to Aug. 2, 2009
