Planning commission reviews student housing proposals

Utah State University will soon have a few more buildings to house its students.

The design for Willow Creek Student Housing was reviewed by the Logan Planning Commission earlier this month. Rod Thompson will develop the five-building project which will occur in phases. Built on 2.4 acres, the buildings will consist of four units per floor, making for a total of 32 units. Each unit will house up to four students. The project will be located at 1150 N. 800 East.

Developer Timothy Johnson of Terraco Holdings, LLC, is proposing an eight-unit student housing complex at 103 Quail Hollow Road, Logan. The complex will be built next to an existing triplex. The area needs to be rezoned to high density before the project can move forward.
