Retirement development seeks approval

The developers of Whisper Rock Retirement Community are seeking approval from the Mapleton City Council for their project of 58 dwelling units. The units will be marketed to retirement-age consumers, Matt Brady, an assistant planner, said. Cory Andersen is developing the 16.8 acres located off of Maple Street near Highway 89.
