  • Roy Family Dental to build

    The site plan was approved for an office building at 4000 S. Midland Drive in Roy. The 9100-square-foot building will house Roy Family Dental and will be available for other tenants. The building will be located on .89 acres. Don Frederickson is the developer.

  • Cooper Roberts Simonsen Associates awarded contract to assist Meridian, Idaho, with Downtown

    Bonneville Research is part of a team led by Cooper Roberts Simonsen Associates,  a design firm with offices in Utah and Idaho, which was just awarded the contract to assist Meridian Idaho with downtown redevelopment. Meridian is a rapidly growing suburban community roughly half way between Boise and Nampa.

  • Springhill Suites Hotel plans to build in Draper

    The Draper City Council approved the site plan and conditional use permit for a Springhill Suites Hotel at 12111 S. Factory Outlet Drive. Woodbury Corporation will build the hotel on 2.36 acres.

  • Draper approves plat request for Midas Creek Office

    Draper Office Associates received approval on its plat request for Midas Creek Office, a 17,000-square-foot building. The two-story building will be built on 1.05 acres at 619 E. 12300 South in Draper. Eight offices, ranging in size from 1,500 square feet to 2,000 square feet, will be available for purchase once the structure is complete.

  • Smithfield approves 12-lot subdivision

    The concept plan for Sunset Meadows, a 12-lot subdivision at 180 East and 600 South to 800 South, was approved by the Smithfield Planning Commission. Single family homes will be built on the lots. Ryan Rogers, the builder, is waiting to receive preliminary approval from the Smithfield City Council.

  • Phase II of Elkridge Estates approved

    The final plat for Elk Ridge Estates Phase II was approved by the Smithfield City Planning Commission. The development will consist of 12 lots on 4.63 acres at 1150 E. 100 South. MV Properties is the builder and developer for Elk Ridge Estates.

  • Renovation of John R. Park building complete

  • Two Weber County restaurant groups to expand holdings

    Warrens of Roy and Riverdale opened a new Syracuse restaurant earlier this month. The new $1.4 million, 3,500-square-foot facility is located at 1778 S. 1000 West in Syracuse. Kirk Dean is owner of Warrens as well as Dylan’s in Ogden and Kaysville.

  • Home builder to open new frozen yogurt business in Utah

    Yogurt Vibes, a self serve, pay-by-the-ounce frozen yogurt parlor, will open in July in South Jordan. Anthony Bocchino, a former home builder, will own the store with plans of starting four more by the end of the year. Bocchino is working on the interior renovation of the shop, which will be 880 square feet. Bocchino is partnering with Scott Whittaker who owns File Center Inc. The Enterprise, June 22-28, 2009

  • 300-unit apartment complex to be built in Midvale

    Wasatch Advantage Group will break ground on a 300-unit apartment complex in Midvale this fall. The San Malo apartments will be adjacent to the San Moritz apartments at 7400 South and 1000 West. The complex will have one-, two- and three-bedroom units with between 700 and 2,000 square feet. Construction is expected to take between 12 and 14 months. The property will also have a swimming pool, kiddie pool, large club room with kitchen, a park area, pavilions and playground on 13.5 acres.
