  • Community redevelopment discussed

    A four-lot commercial subdivision at 2500 N. Main in North Logan is in the concept planning stages. The development is part of the Community Redevelopment plan for North Logan, Planning Commissioner Cordell Batt said. Valley Motors, a car dealership, will be one of the businesses to locate on the site. Overland Group Inc. will also be completing an unfinished office building in the area. Batt mentioned plans to also build some multi-family homes on the site.

  • 12-lot subdivision for North Logan

    Kurtis Jacobs is developing a 12-lot subdivision at 2500 N. 800 East in North Logan. The development, Park Place Subdivision, will consist of single family homes on 7.05 acres. The subdivision is in the developmental stages.

  • 115 multi-family homes proposed in Draper

    Olsen & Associates is waiting for approval on its Windsor Mill Project. The developer plans to build 115 units of multifamily homes on 19 acres. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer.

  • Holmes Homes proposes subdivision

    Holmes Homes is proposing to build 25 single family homes on five acres near 13800 South and 300 East in Draper. Holmes Homes plans to begin construction this summer.

  • Construction set for city hall

    Construction on a new city hall for North Salt Lake will begin this May. The building, located at 230 S. Highway 89, is scheduled to be complete within the next 10 to 12 months. Hughes Construction is the developer.

  • 303-lot subdivision waiting approval

    A 303-lot subdivision is waiting for approval in Layton. The development will be located at 1250 E. Antelope Dr. Adams Property, LLC, and Mike Flood of Hawkins Homes have proposed the development.

  • Cottage Homes for Woods Cross

    Nate Shipp of Developer Associates will be building cottage homes at 2260 S. 1950 West in Woods Cross instead of single family homes. The development is called Valentine Estates Cottage Homes.

  • Senior living center to be built in Woods Cross

    Bill Smith of SmithLivinGood Company will be developing a community for seniors. The Summerside Senior Living will be located at approximately 2375 S. 800 West in Woods Cross.

  • IRS building waits approval in Marriott-Slaterville

    The Boyer Company is seeking approval to construct a building for the Internal Revenue Service at 900 W. 12th Street in Marriott-Slaterville, said Ken Martin of the city community development department. The final site plan for the 63,000-square-foot building will be completed at the end of March.

  • Trax to expand

    UTA Frontrunner Commuter Rail has purchased land on the west side of Lindon to expand Trax from Salt Lake City to Lindon. There will be no substation, Lindon City Manager Ott Damron said. The tracks are set to be completed by 2012.
